bearings are rated by temperature.
A few types of bearings are plain bearings, jewel bearings, and fluid bearings.
Wheel bearings, main bearings, connecting rod bearings, cam bearings, axle bearings, carrier bearings, pinion bearings and so on, need to be more specific.
Wheel bearings? Axle bearings? Differential carrier bearings? Engine main bearings? Engine rod bearings? Engine cam bearings? Need more info to help you.
Cam bearings, Main bearings, Rod bearings.
Your question is very vague...is it how to remove bearings or how the replace bearings or how to size new bearings on an old worn shaft???? And what bearings??? There are several hundred bearings on a car...one kind of bearing on fishing reel...for or five bearings on a bicycle
Bearings are very different from the 50's version. Those bearings came off rollerskates. Now you would use a different bearing for street riding than you would for racing. The bearings are rated by a system called ABEC ratings: 1,3,5,7 & 9. It was originally developed to rate the bearings in machines, not on skateboards. The ABEC rating rates the precision of a bearing. Most skateboarders use a 3, 5 or 7 ABEC. Most are metal but some riders prefer ceramic bearings. Your local shop will have most of the information you need. This is a good site to find information about bearings: http://www.skateboardballbearings.com Heidi www.SPAUSA.org

Yes, there are several types of plain bearings, including sleeve bearings, flanged bearings, thrust bearings, and spherical bearings. Each type is designed to support different loads and operating conditions.
Ceramic 8-ball bearings are the best bearings out there.
Main bearings and connecting rod bearings.
Depends on the vehicle and which bearings. Wheel bearings, not so expensive. Main bearings inside the engine, expensive.
roller bearings are only needed if engine has roller bearings, u would replace bearings with same bearings that are in engine and cam specs
