Cover floor in hot water..sprinkle salt on it, put a pair of crocs on or boots with ridged soles, turn on the music and start dancing. Old polish will turn white so you can see where to dance. Mop with hot water and allow to dry thoroughly LOL true!!
That depends on what the floor is made of. If its a wooden floor, try mineral spirits or hairspray
Rub it with a rough rag and Goof Off, it will soften enough to be peeled off.
Vinyl gloves are generally resistant to many chemicals, but they may not be effective in removing nail polish. Acetone, a common ingredient in nail polish removers, can break down vinyl, potentially causing the gloves to degrade or become ineffective. It's best to use nitrile or latex gloves if you're working with nail polish remover to ensure proper protection.

Vinyl is the only "no wax" floor I am aware of and removing the wax should not damage the vinyl finish. You can get removal products at most flooring stores that are specifically designed for this purpose. I took the "no wax" wax off my "no wax" floor and it looked better than ever.
Yes but you may want to apply a leveling compound between the two vinyls and also take care to make sure the original vinyl is well stuck otherwise they will both end up coming off the floor.
Try Eucalyptus oil :)
Hammer and chisel to scrape it off, an assortment of putty knives.
Soften it with Goof Off, then scrape it with a wood spatula.
