Refrigerators and other kitchen appliances usually don't come with wheels but are equipped with what are called elevator bolts. The bolts are adjustable to, well, elevate (or lower) a corner of the appliance on which they are installed. They have threads, and they screw up into the bottom of the frame of the appliance. They have a round, flat pad on the bottom for a head, and it is sometimes capped with a little rubber boot. The weight of the appliance is supported on the heads of the elevator bolts. At the bottom of the elevator bolt just above the round base is a hex shaped shoulder that is specifically shaped and located so that an open end wrench can be slid in to turn it. With an appropriately sized wrench (and a torpedo level, if one is so inclined) a fridge or other appliance can be set (so it won't wobble on its feet) and leveled within a few minutes.
