Your power window lock control on the driver's door has been switched on It is the rocker switch that goes left and right
Happened to my 97 Accord EX. The power window switch for driver's window was burnt. Had to replace entire unit.
There is no single fuse for one power window. The most common thing is the switch to fail. This would be the master window switch. Try jumping the wires with a live current and see if the window goes up and down. If it does then its your switch, if the motor fails to move most likely its the motor/regulator.
If your driver's side window goes down halfway and gets stuck in a 1999 Chevy Suburban, the motor could be failing. It could also indicate the window is off the track.
I got the same problem, when the window goes up and down, see if the window tilt a little bit, if it, then should be the windows regulator that is bent, that's why the motor is forcing it, replace it and that is it.
it could be your window switch..try changing it
DOT 3 power steering fluid.
Their is no relay. Power goes through the switch strait to the window motor.
take the door panel off and disconect the wire assembly or window regulator that goes to the power window moter and manually pull the window up.
Pull the inner door panel and unplug the window motor. Get a power source (booster pack, spare battery) and use two wires to power up the motor manually so it goes up then leave it unplugged until the problem is fixed.
If the power window is going down by itself, check the wiring on the on the window switch you replaced. If the wiring is okay, the switch may need to be returned to the store for a replacement. Also, you can try removing the battery from the key remote for a minute or two and putting it back in. Some key fobs have a chip in them that allow them to roll down the windows on the front driver and passenger side.
The yellow with green wire goes from the switch to the relay which is to the right of the speaker and then from the replay it changes to yellow and goes to the motor.
