If you have a cable operated throttle body it's probably a bad idle control. Depending on your parts supplier they might call the idle control an IAC or ISC or IBP. If you replace the idle control, you should first clean the inside of the throttle body thoroughly using throttle plate cleaner and either a soft brush or a rag, then run the engine for a few minutes.
If you have an electronically controlled throttle body, suspect a damaged throttle body or a broken wire near the connector at the throttle body.
Check for a blown fuse.
Look for a vacuum leak...
You can start with the 02 sensor. if that does not fix the problem then you may have to consider the ECU.
Yes and Ford won't fix it. WE NEED TO FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM. HIT ME UP AND LETS GET THIS STARTED.
My keypad doesn't light up anymore on my 1995 Ford Explorer and I was told that the assembly would have to be changed in order to fix the problem , it's not just a bulb
You can either fix the problem or disconnect the battery and re connect it
define the problem is door switch and not window motor.
Before you can fix the idle problem on your Vauxhall Frontera, you need to find out the cause of the problem. If the problem is with the fuel pump or fuel filter, they would need to be replaced.
how do i replacement my blend door in my 1998 ford explorer
The idle is automatic. If the speed is not corect then you have to fix the problem with the idle motor.
No
I would say if you have a sohc v6 4l engine than the iac - idle air control value is the problem. i fixed mine by cleaning it with cab / electric cleaner. that was for stalling when starting in the morning or cooler temp. I still have lumpy idle but i hear that the upper intake and lower intake gaskets are prone to leaking - i replaced them but did not fix my lumpy idle. Other people suggest fuel filter. I fixed my stalling problem but still have a lumpy ldle.
