If the extra gas is in something you can't pour (i.e. a gas tank in your car), you may wish to siphon the gas out of the tank. There are a couple different methods of doing this, though most automotive and hardware stores sell basic hand pump or drill operated pumps to get the gas going through the line. If you're asking how to dispose of unusable or bad gasoline that's just hanging around in a container, I'd recommend filtering it and using it in a small or two-stroke engine; like a lawn mower. Or you could put a little bit in your car at a time with your next couple fill ups (though I wouldn't recommend doing it with a new car, just in case). And, of course, you could always burn it but please research some safe ways to do so first as compressed or vapor gas will combust.
