Take a dry cotton rag and place over waxed carpet. With a heated iron, iron over the rag. The wax will attach itself to the cotton rag. I got this information from my 85 year old grandmother after my candle dripped onto my carpet flooring!

i have candle wax spilled on my outdoor and indoor carpet. How do I clean that up ?

One method is to place a soft cloth over the wax and put a medium warm iron on top of that. The wax will melt and adhere to the cloth while releasing from the carpet.

How do you get candle wax off fabric couch?

To get candle wax out of carpet, I place a paper towel on the wax and use a warm iron on the towel and it melts the wax which will loosen from the carpet and stick to the paper towel. I haven't had the problem on a fabric couch before, but it works on carpet. It might be worth a shot. Good Luck.

Can you get wax out of carpet with wax paper and iron?

Yes, you can remove wax from carpet using wax paper and an iron. Place the wax paper over the wax stain, and then gently iron over the paper. The heat from the iron will melt the wax, allowing it to be absorbed by the paper. Be careful not to leave the iron in one spot for too long to avoid damaging the carpet.

What is the best way to get melted candle wax out of carpeting?

Remove as much wax as possible by hand using a serrated knife to help scrape the wax from the carpet fibers. Then take a brown paper bag and cut a section that is twice the size of the affected carpet area and place over the wax stain. Then take a preheated electric iron set on medium and "iron" over the paper bag piece. The wax in the carpet will melt and be absorbed into the paper. Several tries may be necessary using fresh pieces of brown paper bag to get all of the candle wax out.

How do you remove toilet wax from carpet?

First break up any pieces that you can remove with a screwdriver leaving just what is actually stuck to the carpet. Next use several paper towels folded and a medium hot iron and place towels over wax and place iron on top of the towels for a few minutes, you will notice the wax melting and being absorbed into the towels. Keep repeating this process until no more wax can be absorbed into the towels. Remember faster is not better, adding more heat will melt the carpet fibers as well as the wax so be patient.
