It is important to know the symptoms of a bad car part. The symptoms of a coil going bad would be having a trouble starting and running the car, the coil getting hot, and poor fuel economy.
You can determine if the coil pack is bad on a 2001 Hyundai Elantra by observing symptoms such as rough idling, misfires, decreased acceleration, or poor fuel economy. Additionally, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) related to the ignition system may trigger the check engine light. To confirm, you can test the coil pack's resistance with a multimeter or visually inspect it for cracks and carbon tracking. If these issues are present, replacing the coil pack is recommended.
Well if it will fit 14'' rims, as well as they have the same bolts, and you know how to get it to an autobody, you'll do just fine.

Remove the hose, and take it with you.
If you have white smoke coming out the tail pipe and the smoke has a sweet smell to it, the car has bad problems.
