Try toothpaste! Believe it or not, it works great on removing permanent Sharpie markers. Also try hairspray as an alternative. It took Sharpie ink off hardwood floors, after household cleaners did not work.
(NOTE : hairspray and other solvents should be tested somewhere inconspicuous first!)

"Magic Eraser Pad" removed it (after a half hour's work with other products failed). It was an impressively complete cleaning of multiple sharpie scribbles. Normally you would expect to have to sand the wood and restain it. The Magic eraser product costs about $1.50 each, retail.
Note - Toothpaste and eraser pads work on abrasion, so be careful you don't take off too much of the finish.

One product Sharpie itself recommends is Amodex Ink and Stain Remover. Its specialty is removing ink from clothes and fabrics (which is very difficult), so it removes Sharpie from wood and similar surfaces with little or no trouble.
The product is a liquid soap, so you just pour a little on the stain, let it sit for a bit, and then wipe it away. The product works by "lifting" the dye of the Sharpie from the wood surface, so the ink will be in the soap that you wipe off.
the best ways to remove scratches from a hardwood floors are either you sand it or have someone do it for you
I remove Sharpie marks by taking the Sharpie and a piece of dry cloth or dry paper toweling and apply the marked surface in small increments with the marker and wipe away before the marker dries again. In small increments works best and it will totally remove the marker from most surfaces that are not porous.

To effectively prepare your hardwood floors for refinishing through hardwood sanding, start by thoroughly cleaning the floors to remove any dirt and debris. Next, sand the floors using a drum sander or orbital sander to remove the existing finish and smooth out any imperfections. Make sure to sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the floors. After sanding, vacuum and wipe down the floors to remove any dust. Finally, apply a wood stain or finish to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
