wheel vibration at speed
The tires are out of balance...may need tires, or rim(s) are bent
Check your tires. They may have a flat spot some where. you may need tires. or tires may need to be balance.
It is necessary to balance your tires when they are rotated because blancing results in equal air pressure on all 4 tires. Less air in one of the tires will result in faster wear, resulting in the need to rotate more often.
Sure, you can balance the tires. Any place that sells tires can balance your tires. You cannot rotate the tires as you have already stated they are not the same size. Balance but do not rotate.
You can substitute these tries if need be. But if you do this your car will be off balance.
You don't need to, but ATV tires can be balanced if you have problems. You will probably need to go to a national chain tire dealer (Discount Tire, Wal-Mart...) because many smaller tire dealers will not balance ATV tires because it's tougher to do than the full-sized ones.
Could be your tires need to be balanced or you need new tires.
If they are already balanced then no you dont. but if they are not balanced yes you do. If you dont you will wear out the tires faster than if they were balanced.
If you feel any vibration or shimmy in the steering wheel or if you feel the same things in the vehicle you have a tire out of balance. As you need to rotate your tires at least every 10,000 miles that is a good time to have the tire balance checked.
its not spossed too...you may need to balance your tires
Kelly Tires offers a wide variety of tires, whether you need "all terrain" tires for all road types, tires for rugged terrain. They have commercial truck tires or "LT" tires, tires for light trucks. They tell you how to locate on your vehicle the correct tire size you need.
it could mean that you have a bent rim, a wheel weight might have fallen off, or you need to have new tires, or it could need a front end alignment, but I would start out checking the balance on the tires and the shop should be able to tell you if it is a bent rim then go from there.
