To unsave your AOL password, you can go to the settings of your web browser. Locate the "Passwords" or "Autofill" section, find the saved AOL password, and choose the option to delete or remove it. Alternatively, if you're using the AOL app, you can go to account settings and look for options related to saved passwords to manage them. Remember to save any changes you make.
You cannot unsave but make it forget. The browser is the one that saves the passwords. Deleting password history will delete the saved password.

http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8925333#8925333 I just had this issue happen to me as well. AOL support advised me to change my AOL password. You can do this after signing on at aol.com. This worked -- iTunes now recognizes my AOL screen name and new password.
Log into AOL and go into settings. Click change password.

To reset your AOL password using a security question, go to the AOL login page and click on "Forgot password?" Follow the prompts to enter your email address. When prompted, select the option to answer your security question. After successfully answering the question, you'll be allowed to create a new password for your account.

If you have the AOL Toolbar, click settings; or go to AOL Keyword "password". If not, sign into your AOL mail from the homepage. Click on Settings at the top, next to where it says Check Mail, Compose, Search, and Help. At the list on the left under Back to Mail, click Accounts. Beside where it says Password, click the link "Change your AOL password". Another window will pop up. Follow the prompts that will enable you to change your password.
