Depends. Just the steel weighs approximately two tons. The floor is usually 3/4" plywood with rubber covering, the windows are surprisingly heavy. The seats must be added in too. If you were looking at lifting a complete body including the firewall and windshield minus the frame, running gear and drivetrain, allow for about 3 tons.
The frame weighs about a ton, the rear axle and suspension about the same, wheels and tires are probably 200lbs each. The nose and core support are heavy too, the front axle with suspension and steering probably more than half a ton. A decent diesel engine would be 1500 lbs, a smaller one about 900 lbs, transmission with adapter plate from 350 to 700 lbs. Not hard to see how it quickly adds up to a bus that weighs around 8 or so tons.
Weight of the bus will depend on options and chassis used.
The gross vehicle weight for a 71 passenger school bus is 29,800lbs. The 71 passenger school bus can carry up to 48 students.
No way of answering without knowing make, model, passenger capacity, etc.
With or without your wife in the passenger seat?
The curb weight of a 65 passenger school bus is around 16,000 pounds. If the bus has luggage racks on top, it might weight about 300 pounds more.

There are several types of chassis, primarily categorized into three main types: ladder chassis, monocoque chassis, and backbone chassis. Ladder chassis consist of two parallel beams connected by cross members, offering strength and rigidity. Monocoque chassis integrate the body and frame into a single structure, enhancing aerodynamics and reducing weight. Backbone chassis feature a central tubular structure that supports the vehicle's components, providing a balance between strength and weight efficiency.
A typical 65-passenger school bus can carry approximately 24,000 to 26,000 pounds, including the weight of the bus itself and the passengers. The exact weight capacity may vary based on the bus's make and model, as well as its specific design and equipment. It's essential to consult the manufacturer's specifications for precise weight limits.
The calculation of what? The gross weight? The curb weight?
IIRC, when I hauled loads of just three chassis from the Mexican border to Freightliner, the total shipping weight of just the three chassis was 16,000 lbs.
