Depends on where you live. I've done it for 40 years and charge $40. That's all I think it's worth. Very few agree with that. $75 is a common amount and I suppose some may go as high as $125. They are not that hard and if you have any mechanical ability at all, you should be able to do it yourself. There are instructions with the new one that should let you install it if you follow each step in order.
The cost to install a garage door opener typically ranges from $300 to $500, including the price of the opener and installation labor. Factors influencing the price include the type of opener (chain, belt, or screw drive), the complexity of the installation, and any additional features like smart technology. It's advisable to get quotes from multiple contractors to find the best deal.

Garage door repairs cost $243 on average, ranging from $148 and $342. This depends on the type and the problem. Minor fixes with inexpensive replacement parts may run under $100. Solving significant damage to a solid wood style could take up to $1,500.

Probably more than what the car is worth, starting around $1500 and up to $2500 would not be unreasonable (depending on parts costs and labor rates).
for the 4 cylinder or v6? automatic or manual? these can be important details. I understand that the OEM warranty covers 4.6 hours of labor for "complete assembly with transfer of parts" but 10.4 hours for overhaul/rebuild including replace and install transaxle. this is for the manual transaxle for the 4cyl. total cost would be shop labor rate multiplied by time spent, plus applicable taxes or other costs. i am unsure whether this covers replacement of fluids, so it may depend on the dealership or garage.
