Probably not, but it's almost certainly one of the cheapest things you can try to see if it helps.
Installed the battery backward. A short. Or a fuse blew.
The phone is probaly already shorted out and nonfunctional, changing the battery would likely do nothing as the damage is already done.
Hey Rick==You possibl;y knocked the wire from the sender while you were working on the thermostat. GoodluckJoe
that would be your thermostat.
Your temperature would usually fluctuate. But if your car has over heated then there is a chance it may need changing
No. The only thing would be the clock and radio.
coolant levels or the thermostat
You would recharge the battery if it were not working
Assuming it did not overheat before you replaced thermostat and water pump you may have installed the thermostat backwards. It is also possible the cooling system wasn't refilled properly and was air bound.
I would start by changing the thermostat. They go out, often, or have a tenacy to stick, and are cheap.
because the water pump is not working properly....
The actual removal of the thermostat will not cause this condition but if you possibly disconnected a vacuum hose white changing the thermostat, WOULD cause that problem. Check all of the vacuum hoses to make sure they are connected and tight.
