Valve cover torque spec for 4.0 SOHC is 89 in-lbs. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071. This manual is for Ford Ranger Pick-ups, 1993-2005 models, but DOES include torque specs for the 4.0L SOHC engine.
All the torque settings for your entire car should be listed in a Chiltons manual. Get one at your local auto parts store for about 15-20 buck. darksidesteve
