Slighty loose should only cause tire wear. It will get worse. As it gets worse the car will start to want to follow the groove in the road and worse tire wear and possibly pull. Something to fix soon.
it could be a bad tie rod/a bad ball joint/a tire out of balance/ or it needs a front end allignment
if a tie rod breaks you will lose control of the tire it broke on , causing you to crash..
A bad Tie rod usuallydoesn't SOUND like anything, but some good indicators that you have a bad tie rod are incorrect alignment, and uneven tire wear on your front tires.
I t can cause a shimmy in the front end while driving if it is wore bad enough. It can cause your tires to wear abnormally. If it completely breaks, it can cause you to loose control of steering on the tire that it broke off of.
Bad tire, bad tie rod end, bad wheel bearing, or bad rack and pinon.
I would say the drve train would cause a vibration. A wobble could be from a bad tire, unbalanced tire, bent rim, bad tie rod joint.
Bad shocks, worn ball joints, worn tie rod ends - all cause tire wear.
jack the car up and grab the tire on the left side and right and try moving the tire from left to right .if there is any movement then the tie rod need replaced.
A bad tie rod can lead to several issues, including poor steering response, uneven tire wear, and alignment problems. It may cause the vehicle to pull to one side, making it difficult to maintain control. Additionally, a worn tie rod can lead to a clunking noise while driving, especially over bumps, and can compromise overall safety if not addressed promptly.
What is a "Tire Rod", Do you mean Tie Rod?
When a tie rod end goes bad it just means that it has a lot of wear and is loose. It is not unsafe to drive unless it is broken or missing pieces. You can see how bad it is by trying to move it bt hand. If it is out of the car and the rod end will move freely based on position then it needs replaced. As far as driving the vehicle, the steering will be sloppy nad there will be greater tire wear over the long term but it can still be driven.
Out of balance tire, bad tie rod, bad shock/strut, or bad alignment are a few options
