It's typically either a discharged battery or a poor battery connection. Batteries are only an electrical storage device. If the alternator isn't keeping the battery adequately charged you could have the problem you describe. But rather than running right out and replacing the battery, first charge it and see if it will hold a charge overnight. Sometimes, if something is left on inside the car it will run the battery down sufficiently to cause what you describe. Other times it's the alternator, dirty battery terminal or even a worn out battery, but you can't know until you test these components.
Bad battery, or starter problem.
If you mean the monotonous noise that sounds like a swarm of bees, those are vuvuzelas.
It is a slang way of showing that someone is asleep - like the buzzing noise you make when you snore.
Buzzing can be derived from buzz, an onomatopoeia for the sound, for example, a bee makes. Buzzing would thus be the present progressive of buzz, meaning it is currently taking place. Also, buzzing can mean something is popular and making a name for itself, like the more commonly used term 'trending'.
that means there is a short in the starter solenoid. pull starter out and have it overhauled

It means to make a noise that a Guinea pig makes. Or even more, the noise that a pig pig makes.
