yes. i put one in a 90 accord and a tempo tranny mounted up
I have the same tag on my 302 and am trying to identify what this motor came out of. Does yours have an engraving before the Z that looks like an Impala logo or possibly a rabbit jumping? My tag reads Z 2738 591735. Any answers on this would be great thanks!
No. Only the 302, 300 I6 & some of the 351 windsor engines had fuel injection. The 460 did not gain fuel injection untill 88 but was not standard until 90.
The piston is not stuck. It must be rotated to retract it. There are two depressions on the piston face. Use a pair of needle nose pliars to turn the piston clockwise to retract it. Turn it until the face of the piston is flush with the boot.
$60 to $90 dollars depending on the maker

No, they have standard dual overhead cam, piston engines, at least from 90-05.
Yes, a C6 transmission from a 1984 Ford Bronco can be bolted into a 1990 Bronco, but there are some considerations. The C6 is compatible with both the 351W and 302 engines, but you may need to address differences in the transmission mounts, driveshaft length, and possibly the transmission cooler lines. Additionally, ensure that the bellhousing and torque converter are suitable for the engine in the 1990 Bronco. Always consult a professional for a proper fit and compatibility check.
302 or 305? 302s never did. 305(5liter) in about 90 or 92. I first saw factory roller cams on the 87's with one piece rear main seal and raised-rail heads.
