The charging system is or has failed. Have it tested at your local auto parts store at no cost.
Please clarify what you mean by low voltage light fixture. What voltage?
The charging system output voltage is too high or low.
noyou can not
The voltage light coming on indicates a problem. The system has determined that the voltage has become either too high or too low. This is most commonly a bad alternator or regulator.
24 volts

Charging system voltage is too high or to low.
That depends on what you mean. If you mean why does a circuit which has a high voltage side and a low voltage side have a greater average current on the low voltage side, it is probably because of power conservation: P = IV. If this is not what you mean, you will have to be more specific!
The output voltage from the alternator is either too low or too high.
If your GEN light is on then the generator votage has reduced down to an extreme low rate or it has died completely, as in, it isn't putting out voltage to recharge the battery.
The input voltage must match (within a few percent) the rated voltage of the light. If you're using a 12 volt light, a 50 volt supply will destroy it within seconds. "low voltage" is not sufficient information to help you answer your question.
The types of construction lights that are available are high voltage beam light and a low voltage beam light. The high voltage beam light shines a lot brighter.
