Sound is only the transference of energy via vibration of the molecules in the transmitting medium.
Ie sound in air is the air molecules being vibrated by a stimulus say a load speaker or your vocal cords.
We hear sound by receiving the vibrations on our ear drums which is converted in the inner ear into electricity which our brains interpret as noise.
Our own voices sound different to us when recorded and played back, as most of what we hear of our own voice is from vibration through the bones in your jaw and skull, which transmit at different speeds and therefore frequencies.
Sources of sound energy are anything that makes sound
When a baby shakes a rattle, the mechanical energy from their hand movement is converted into sound energy as the rattle vibrates and generates sound waves.
Sound energy is a form of energy than can be detected by the ear. Sound energy can travel through substances such as, water, air, wood, or fire. Basicaly, everything in the world is sound energy because mostly anything makes noise. Claudia XoXo
it depends how much energy is used making the sound the more energy the louder because sound waves are transverse waves and waves are a reapeating disturbance of energy
sound energy i believe
Kinetic energy turns into sound energy when an object in motion interacts with air molecules, causing them to vibrate and create sound waves. This can happen when an object moves quickly or collides with another object, converting its kinetic energy into sound energy.
It produces SOUND ENERGY which makes a thing make different kind of sound.
Sound energy typically gets converted into heat energy as it makes contact with objects or surfaces. This conversion occurs due to the friction and absorption of sound waves by the medium through which they travel.
A higher amplitude or greater energy in sound waves makes pitch louder. The intensity or volume of the sound wave determines its loudness.
Sound from a cymbal comes from vibrations. f
Sound is determined by the amount of energy the source produces. A louder sound is created by a source that produces more energy, while a quieter sound is produced by a source with less energy. The amplitude or intensity of the sound wave also plays a role in determining the volume of the sound.
a horn for example. one that a clown would squeak. when you press down on it, it makes a sound. those waves go into the air and become electric energy. :)
