The cost to strip and wax VCT tile typically ranges from $0.50 to $1.50 per square foot, depending on factors such as the condition of the floor, the size of the area, and local labor rates. Additional costs may apply for any necessary repairs or special treatments. It's essential to assess the specific needs of the job and consider offering a flat rate for larger projects to remain competitive. Always provide a detailed quote to clients before starting the work.

If its new VCT probably, and you will need to strip the old wax & rinse good so there is no stripper residue.. it eats your new wax over time.... If it ceramic tiles NO.

Go to youtube & there are tons of how to videos.
Yes you can install vct over existing vct. The existing vct must be well adhered to the subfloor, no loose tiles or cracked and chipped tiles. If tiles are missing or must be removed you will need to patch in those spots with a suitable portland cement leveler or new pieces of vct. You will need to sand off the wax layer that may be present on the existing vct because if it is left on it can wear loose over time causing adhesion failure of the new vct and glue. Sweep all dust and contaminants from the floor.
Miracle Sealants Mira-Strip, available from Home Depot, will remove most protective coatings, wax, etc.
I am not sure how much to charge for strip and wax. It all depends on how much it cost to get.
Stripping and waxing VCT can cost anywhere between 20-30 cents per square foot depending on the condition of the floor. To scrub and recoat costs about 15-20 cents per square foot.
There is no reason to wax a tile floor.
not candle wax but the wax that you can put wax warmer it was spilled
If you are talking about ceramic or porcelain tiles then yes. Granite tile and counters can also be cleaned using acetone. For softer stones like marble and travertine I would recommend using petrochemicals.
No, it is not recommended.
