if its bogging down it could be catalic converter
Loss of power when accelerating can be caused by a number of things. A leak in the fuel line or even a bad alternator can cause this.
More than likely... the power steering belt.
The most common cause for a lack of power whilst accelerating is a clogged exhaust system or lack of sufficient fuel being delivered to the engine. Check your catalytic converter if your vehicle has one, and then change your fuel filter and go from there.
could be two things. if it does it while idling or accelerating, then its probably a spark plug not firing. if it only does it while accelerating or under load. then its probably a spark plug wire. either way, as general maintenance its a good idea to replace all the wires and plugs. Clogged catalitic converter will cause it to lose power.

There are several reasons that made cause an automobile to lose power going up a hill. The most common reason is a lack of fuel, caused by a plugged fuel filter.
Winter drive - you must be going under 7 mph when you engage it. It keeps the SUV in 3rd gear (max ~ 40 mph) so that speed is reduced, control is better. Useful for when roads are slick with snow/ice, especially curvy, hilly roads. Power drive - gives slightly more power when accelerating. Increases the RPM's for each gear. Mileage will suffer, though.
Hesitation when accelerating with tha a/c on is a common occurence with four cylinder vehicles. The a/c uses alot of the engines power and causes the hesitation. It is not usually a cause for concern.
