Most commonly, this problem is due to a out-of-round tire or a tire that needs a rebalance.
Might just need a front end alignment or maybe balance and rotate your tires.
I would be suspicious of the CV joints.
If it's ONLY during acceleration I'd check the CV joints first.
sounds like the right front motor mount .i replaced mine and the clunking sound went away
ignition related misfire have you had a tune-up lately?
During forward acceleration on any vehicle (front wheel drive or otherwise), more of the vehicles weight is transferred to the rear of the car, making the rear of the car heavier. This is undesirable in a front wheel drive car because there is less weight over the drive wheels to produce traction (causing the front wheels to spin)
typically you want a a smaller sprocket in back and bigger one in front.. bigger one in back with stock in front will cause quicker acceleration small on back and big in front will cause you more speed but if you put a smaller one in back put a bigger one in front
AnswerNoises have to be heard to correctly diagnoise. TAke it to a garage. But a good place to look for a noise when the driveline is under torque ( accel and turning) would be the CV axles.
It is your a/c compreser.. It can lock your motor up.. I have same problem when i turn air on.. drives fine without it on
For most civics its the same, 3x2 in the front and 6x9's in the back behind the passengers.
not usually. warped rotors will cause a vibration during braking.
Check the CV Joints both inner and outer. Probally a boot has failed and the joint has loss all grease.
