Every 90 days or 3,000 miles. Unless it's extremely dirty, you can get away with more if you don't drive it that much in 90 days. Although, there are people who will say 90 days because the oil gets old and loses viscosity. Best to go with three months or 3,000 miles.
I disagree with the above answer. Change your oil based on how you drive. If you do nothing but highway driving then changeoil and filterevery 7,000 miles. If you do mixed driving change it every 5,000 miles. If you do nothing but city driving then 3,000 miles might be appropriate. This is assuming you are using conventional oil. If you are using Synthetic, then change at 10 - 7or 5. Always change the filter and use a quality filter. The 3,000 mile oil change wastes oil and money, and is simply not necessary on modern cars with modern oil and filters. Look in your owner's manual and see what the manufacture lists. Their change interval will even be higher than what I suggest. Time is not really a factor as long as you change it every 6 months regardless of mileage. Every 3 monthsor 3,000 miles was necessary for cars using leaded fuel, but for cars today this is wasteful.

When it is time to change your oil, you should change all of the oil.
Yes, of course. It would be better to change the filter and not the oil, rather than change the oil and not the filter. As a fact of life, just change both at the same time, each time. Kim
No you can not. Most of the time oil change coupons are on a specific type of oil. You will not be able to pick the oil that you want.
