Dead battery, jammed starter rotor arm - it it's manual, put it in gear and then rock the car back and forth to un-stick the rotor arm. If it's the battery, main lights will be dim or not work.

If the Chrysler is only making a clicking noise and will not start, check the starter. Also check the alternator, and the battery. The starter solenoid is more than likely the reason the car is clicking and not starting.
A clicking sound when slowing down is usually harmless it’s often brake pads shifting slightly or hardware settling into place. But if it’s loud or getting worse, check for loose caliper bolts, worn pads, or debris stuck in the brakes.

More than likely the battery is to weak to start the engine. If it's not the battery, the starter may be the culprit.
I have the same car with the same clicking noise right after you start the engine. The noise stops shortly after starting. There was a recall from Chrysler for this problem. Contact your local dealer regarding this matter.
With this symptom, if you tried to jump start the car it would start. The answer was a corroded Black/Cable going to the Negative terminal of the Battery.
If you mean the car will not start or even turn over when you turn the key, that 'clicking' is the starter solenoid making contact like it's supposed to. But there is not enough power from battery to start engine, only enough to make contacts in solenoid. Bad battery, or loose or corroded battery cable terminals
try jumping the battery in the car or cleaning the cables
