Why does my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7l cut off while driving?

Need more info. Does it restart, how and when? You have to do some detective work to determine if you are losing spark or fuel. If the check engine light has or is illuminated check for DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). Re-post your findings.

Could be a number of reasons. We would need to know more about the symptoms.. e.g., is it just the engine, or does the entire electrical system go out? Start by checking all your grounds.
