Worn clutch packs in your automatic transmission could do it, tranny fluid level might, and even could be your torque converter. BUT it could also be worn universal joint on you driveshaft if you have a rear wheel drive vehicle because your causing a shift in what drives what when you decrease speed, causing the play in the worn out U joints to snap to the other side of themselves. Check your driveshaft for play before you even start to mess around with the transmission.
could be failing transmission
would an automatic transmission car jerk when shifting after having had a transmission flush
Idle speed too high.
Check the transmission for any problems/sticking parts.
possible transmission faulty input/output sensor.
In this sense, a "jerk" most commonly refers to a transmission problem.
I would check and see if you have a transmission or PCM problem.
Transmission reProgramming required. The trans doesn't shift into 1st gear at the correct speed and causes a jerking of the vehicle when approaching a stop
What do you mean by jerk?.......... Surge? hesitate? transmission slip? Misfire? I need a better explanation.
your timings off youll probly need to take it in and get it looked at
No it would make the motor run ruf.
There are several problems that could cause your car to jerk when slowing down. The most common cause would be a transmission problem.
