If you have just replaced this starter then you probably have it hooked up incorrectly. If it is still the same old starter, then it has shorted out inside and needs to be replaced.
yes i can answer what is shorting the chevey tahoe fuses theres a promblem with the starter wires moving and touch and grounding on to the starter remove starter and adjust wirers
3 reasons either the starter is not getting power from the solenoid, solenoid is not getting power from the battery or starter is burned up.
Right in front of the oil pan (2.8l) Disconnect the battery before getting a wrench close to the starter. The starter has a HOT battery cable runnign directly to it. Shorting this to the frame with a wrench might start a fire, blow up your battery, or both.

Engine Seized? Check for loose or corroded battery cable Check for bad starter Check for bad starter solenoid
faulty wiring or too low of a fuse, shorting out because the wire is touching metal or another wire
Check your cables for corrosion; if there is any, clean them or replace them. Clean the connections at the starter and clean all grounding wires; test the starter regardless if you think it is good. Clean the battery terminals.
The negative battery cable does not connect directly to the starter; instead, it typically connects to the vehicle's chassis or engine block, which serves as the grounding point. The starter is powered by the positive battery cable, which connects directly to the starter motor. The starter relies on a good ground connection provided by the negative cable to complete the electrical circuit and function properly.
Yes, a new starter can potentially cause issues with your battery if it is malfunctioning or drawing excessive current. If the starter is faulty, it may not engage properly, leading to repeated attempts to start the engine, which can drain the battery. Additionally, if the starter is shorting out, it can also create a situation where the battery becomes overworked, resulting in premature failure. Regular maintenance and proper installation can help mitigate these risks.
Sounds like something is shorting out whenever the ignition key is turned on. Could be the starter motor, as that is the first electrical connection after the battery.
Sounds like the starter solenoid is bad also Check the battery cables for looseness and/or corrosion A weak battery or coroded, loose,or broken cables on/from battery to starter or engine ground will cause a starter selinoid to click without turning the starter. Less often, the windings in the starter or the brushes may be worn out, requiring a replacement. Salt deposit or corossion on the starter lugs also may rob power to the starter. It is VERY IMPORTANT to remove the negative battery cable first, before cleaning, removing or servicing the positive cable on the battery or the starter to avoid possible arcing or shorting battery voltage.
Sounds like a bad connection on the starter. Unhook the battery cables and then take the starter down and LOOK at the starter wires and make sure there tight and not touching each other.
