The term LINEAL refers to ancestry or heredity.
The correct term is LINEAR. One (1) LINEAR foot equals 12".
55.44 units of currency.
2x 6" (x1ft) lengths = 1sq ft, so 2x 400 = 800 lineal feet is required. 800ft x 72 cents = $572 +10% for offcuts etc Hope this helps, Andy
The word LINEAL refers to ancestry or heredity. The correct term for measurement is LINEAR. One (1) linear foot equals 12".
The question, as stated, cannot be answered sensibly. A square foot is a measure of area, with dimensions [L2]. A lineal foot is a measure of distance, with dimensions [L]. The two measure different things and elementary dimensional analysis teaches that you cannot convert between measures with different dimensions such as these without additional information.
you have to add something to the equation: how wide is the object that you are measuring lineal feet of? if it is 12" wide, you need 650 lineal feet to come up with 650 square feet, if it is 4" wide, you need 2950 lineal feet of it, etc. . . hope this helps!
Measure the circle's radius and square it. Multiply the result by pi. This number is the circle's lineal foot measurement.
It is ft. Lineal is not necessary.
The word lineal is redundant and so the abbreviation is "ft"
Multiply the two together to convert to area. The answer is 111.76 square feet.
The circumference of such a circle is 97.5 ft.

2x 6" (x1ft) lengths = 1sq ft, so 2x 400 = 800 lineal feet is required. 800ft x 72 cents = $572 +10% for offcuts etc Hope this helps, Andy
A lineal or linear foot is the same as a foot so a 16 feet diameter is the same as a diameter of 16 lineal feet.
It is a distance equal to 30.48 centimetres.
How long does it take to answer. I was hoping for an example right away...
One thousand nine hundred seventeen and one half lineal feet. #4=.668 lb/ft #5=1.043 lb/ft #6=1.502 lb/ft
Exactly 100 - the two are the same.
