Basically you get a y axis and an x axis (horisontal and vertical) and you put your information about what the graph is showing up either of the lines.
For example, if you were doing a graph on how much pf the amazon rainforest we are losing each year, then you would write the amount we are losing up the y axis (going up) and the number of days it takes to lose the amount on the x axis.
Then (it is easier to do this on lined paper) you get a ruler and join up the point where the information is correct. Say, (if you were doing the amazon rainforest idea) 200km on the y axis and 1 day on the x axis - mark it with an x.
Carry on doing this for all of the numbers.
Finally, get your ruler and join up all the x's in the middle.
you make a line graph and then put a scale on it
Decide why you want to make a line graph and not some other form of graph.
line graph x line graph = divided line graph
To create a line graph in OpenOffice, first, open OpenOffice Calc and enter your data into a spreadsheet, organizing it in columns or rows. Highlight the data you want to graph, then go to the "Insert" menu and select "Chart." In the Chart Wizard, choose "Line" as the chart type and follow the prompts to customize your graph's appearance. Finally, click "Finish" to insert the line graph into your spreadsheet.
There should be no parallel numbers on a line graph.

You can draw a line graph if you have-- the slope of the line and one point on the lineOR-- two points on the line

A line allows you to better visualize the trend of the graph.
line graph x line graph = divided line graph
A nonlinear graph doesn't make a straight line.
any points along the line described by the equation x=anything will give you a vertical line on a graph
no because the broken line graph is a line graph that is broken da!
