5 or 6. An 80 lb. bag of ready mix concrete will make about 1/2 cubic foot of concrete. A 94 lb. bag of portland cement mixed with 1 1/2 cu. ft of stone (coarse gravel) and 1 cu. ft. of sand will make 3 cubic feet of concrete or 6 times as much. (this is a common 1:2:3 mix) Quikcrete ready mix is often made with 1 part cement, and 2 1/2 parts each sand and stone. A 1:1 1/2: 3 mix is a stronger mix but you get less volume, at 5 1/2 cubic feet per bag of cement.
The cost of concrete can vary significantly based on location, supplier, and the specific type of concrete. On average, ready-mix concrete costs between $100 to $150 per cubic yard. Therefore, 2.22 yards of concrete would typically range from approximately $222 to $333, not including additional costs for delivery, labor, or any additives. For an accurate estimate, it's best to contact local suppliers.
To calculate the number of 80-pound bags of ready-mix concrete needed for a 22 square foot area at 4 inches deep, first, determine the volume in cubic feet. The volume is 22 sq ft × (4/12) ft = 7.33 cubic feet. An 80-pound bag of concrete typically yields about 0.6 cubic feet. Therefore, you would need approximately 12-13 bags (7.33 / 0.6 ≈ 12.22).

Ready mixed concrete is a pre-prepared version of the building material concrete. It is available from firms such as Concrete2You, Rapid Ready Mix and ReadyMix2Go.
In the United States, if you are buying concrete mixed up and ready to pour, it is typically sold by the cubic yard (3ft x 3ft x 3ft) volume. But they usually call this just a 'yard' of concrete, knowing that it is a cubic yard.
Ready mix concrete is usually delivered by a concrete mixer, once delivered it is ready to use immediately. One cubic meter will cost around USD $160.
Concrete is typically sold by volume, measured in cubic yards or cubic meters. It can be purchased ready-mixed from suppliers who deliver it directly to construction sites in trucks. Additionally, pre-packaged concrete products are available at hardware stores for smaller projects, often sold in bags. Pricing may vary based on the type of concrete, additives, and local market conditions.
I cant accuratly help you with the cement content but you need about 1 ton of sand and 1 ton of stone for every cubic meter of concrete. The cement content would depend on what you are using the concrete for. At 15 newtons of strength you would ( and this is just an educated guess) need about 95kg of OPC cement, 85kg of GGBS slag, 1.5lt of WRA (water reducing agent) and about 70lt of water to gain a 50mm slump per cubic meter. If I were you I would get it ready mixed. 70 Cube is a LOT of cocrete. Ready mixed 15 Newton concrete is about £75 inc vat per meter delivered. Regards Colin, a Tarmac concrete batcher.

Each 60 pounds bag of ready mix concrete will make .45 cubic foot of concrete. There are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard. You will need 60 bags of 60 pound premixed concrete to make 1 cubic yard.
It is typically measures in cubic yards. Anything over 2 cubic yards is a lot of mixing, so you'd likely want to order that from a concrete company in a ready mix concrete truck.

To calculate the weight of ready mix concrete, you can use the formula: Weight = Volume × Density. First, determine the volume of concrete needed, typically measured in cubic meters or cubic feet. Then, multiply this volume by the density of the concrete, which is usually around 2,400 kg/m³ (150 lb/ft³). This will give you the total weight of the ready mix concrete required for your project.
Mortar has sand in it. Concrete has cement, sand and stone.
A person may be able to purchase an concrete truck at a ready-mix company that can be ordered, or added along with, the amount of concrete that a person or company is providing. For example, the general rule is that a concrete truck will, about average, hold ten cubic yards. Again, this is average because some trucks will actually hold about eight cubic yards to about nine cubic yards.
