220.00 per month
Hi . I am another person and I would like to say that 220 is way over price . Next , kids don't need that much . If they really need it , give them about 20 per week if that works . And well , allowance is suppose to teach marketing and things like that so if you give that much , its going to get them spoiled. Give them a lot when they are saving up for things and little when they aren't much going to .
They should get about 30 a month.

The most common approach in determining the right amount of allowance for a child is to use the age of a child. By that approach, a 12 year old should receive 12 dollars per week if a parent decides to give 1 dollar per year. Another important determinant is the family income and what the allowance is supposed to cover. Therefore, the allowance will vary.
as much as they can save
Many experts have said that a good rule of thumb for an allowance (earned by chores, schoolwork, etc.) is a 50p per year of the child's age. So,£6 a week, but they have to buy their own treats, games, etc.
