The word 'month' is a corruption of the word 'Moonth'.

The ancients calculated the mo(o)nths , by observation. They did not have 'super dupa' computers. Because of simple observation, there were inaccuracies, in time and days.

Consequently, they found a mo(o)nth to be either 28 days(4 weeks) or 29 days.

This number of days is not observed to be exact, but several hours, minutes and seconds were needed to adjust , ' one Moonth'.
