a king can move backward
No you only get to me kinged which is probably better than getting another piece back.
On time rate you are paid for the number of hours worked. On piece rate you are paid for the quantity of goods you produce.
Checkers is a two-player board game that consists or a board sectioned into grids, where each player starts with their 12 pieces on opposite ends of the board. Players take turns moving their pieces, and can move forward, diagonally to the next dark square. If another players piece is in said next dark square, it can be "jumped", ultimately resulting in that player losing his piece. Whichever player is left with the most pieces after all moves have been played is the winner.
Seven (7) choices offer themselves to the player on the first move in checkers. Specifically, each ordinary piece moves on square at a time forward along the diagonals to an unoccupied square. Only four of a player's 12 playing pieces therefore can move at the start of a game. One of the pieces has only one move possible. Each of the other three pieces has two moves each to choose from as the beginning action in the game.
the difference between them is that direct access, such as a DVD allows you to go directly to a specific piece of data using an index, whereas sequential access is when data is chronologically stored on a VCR tape or Magnetic tape, you must go through all the data before you reach the data your looking for.
yes, a normal piece can jump a king
Yes you are allowed to jump over your own piece as long as there is space between.
You can only jump over a piece in checkers if the square behind the piece you are jumping over is empty and the piece you are jumping over is not one of your own.
Yes, otherwise the game would never end! :) For that matter, a normal piece may also jump a king given that the king is further from the piece's starting side of the board - just the same as jumping other ordinary pieces. The only difference between a "man" (ordinary piece) and a king is that the king can move to any black square rather than only those "in front of" it.
If a player does not jump when they can in checkers that piece is taken out of the game.
there is no difference! LOL
A checkers move is any one square diagonal move of a checker piece. Hope this helps.
In the game of checkers, jumping is mandatory if a player's piece is able to jump over an opponent's piece. If a player has a jumping move available, they must take it.
No, in checkers, you can only jump one piece at a time in a single move.
Yes
