CC is a specific mint mark for Carson City, Nevada. Other mint marks include D for Denver, S for San Francisco, O for New Orleans, and P for Philadelphia. No mint mark also means Philadelphia.
The Type 1 and the Type 2 1981 Lincoln Cents concerns the mint mark and are only found on proof coins. The 1981 Type 1 has a "fat" mint mark while the Type 2 has a normal mint mark. The Type 1 mint mark looks "inflated" when compared to the Type 2.
Value is determined by the coin's date, mint mark, and condition.

....50 cents. The coin contains no silver and is in common circulation. It has no premium over face value.
$2 - $32 depending upon the condition of the coin and the mint mark and the state being represented.
The lack of a mint mark indicates that the coin was minted in Philadelphia.
The mint mark is on the reverse of the coin between the tail and the D in the word dollar.
The same way on all Lincoln cents - look under the date for the letter. No mint mark letter = the coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint D = Denver Mint S = San Francisco Mint
The letter is known as the mint-mark and tells where the coin was made. A coin having a P mint-mark (or no mint-mark on some coins) was made in Philadelphia, a coin having an S Mint-mark was minted in San Fransisco, a coin with a D mint-mark was minted in Denver.
On this coin, the mint mark is located in between the two middle numbers of the date, and slightly above. If there is no mark in this location, the coin was minted a Philadelphia.
On the back of the coin, under the ONE in "ONE DOLLAR", there will be a "D" if the coin was minted in Denver and if there is no letter under there it is a Philadelphia minted coin. Your coin may have an "S" as a mintmark rather than a "D" or no mintmark, in that case your coin was minted in San Fransisco.
If it is an "S" mint mark it is worth between $625 and $8500 depending upon the condition. A "D" mint mark is worth between $650 and $23500. A Plain mint mark is worth between $600 and $2400. Be careful who you get to grade the value there is a big difference in quality...
The mint mark is located on the reverse [tails] side of the coin at the bottom below the wreath. If there is no mint mark then the coin was minted at the Philadelphia Mint.
There is not always a mint mark on coins. If your coin does not have a mintmark it means that it was made at the Philadelphia mint in Pennsylvania.
No US coin bears an "F" mint mark
Mintmarks identify which mint the coin was made at.
It depends on the type of coin the date and denomination on were the mint mark is located
