DL 925 refers to a type of silver alloy known as sterling silver, which contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper. It is not gold. However, gold can be alloyed with other metals and stamped with a similar designation, but it would typically be identified with karat markings (e.g., 18K, 14K) rather than a number like DL 925.
925 dl m means that the jewelry is made of silver, specifically sterling silver which is 92.5% pure silver. The gold appearance may be due to the piece being plated with a thin layer of gold, or the lighting and environment where the jewelry is viewed can affect the perception of its color.
925 dl silver is gold colored because it is likely plated with a layer of gold. The gold plating gives the silver a golden appearance, providing a more luxurious and expensive look. This is a common technique used in jewelry making to create pieces that have the appearance of solid gold at a lower cost.
The marking "925" indicates that the metal is made of 92.5% silver, commonly associated with sterling silver, not gold. The "dl" could refer to the manufacturer's initials or a specific design or collection code. It's possible that your earring is silver with a gold plating or that there is some confusion regarding the material. Always consider consulting a jeweler for precise identification.

I bought a cheap cz ring from walmart (20 dollars) that has 925 dl in oval and cz 925 is the marking for real silver, it will say sterling or 925 if it is real silver the DLCZ means Diamond Like Carbon, So you have a piece of jewelery that is real silver but fake diamonds...:) The CZ stands for Cubic Zirconia which is basically a man made fake diamond.
925 = silver, gold color = gold plating

925 means 22kt gold or 18 kt gold
The "925" probably refers to the purity: 925/1000 gold.
