No, hair cannot be crimped while still wet or damp, doing so will cause scorching.
You can either use a crimping iron, or part your hair into 4 sections and braid each. Also, to crimp your hair you can divide hair into 4-6 sections (depending on how thick your hair is) after a shower or if your hair is wet and then braid them very tightly and then leave it in and keep spraying hair spray on it every like 5 min. for 20 minutes and then leave it in for about and hour or 2 or until dry and then take out of braids. This will make a crimp. Spray with hair spray and it should last for a while.
braid your hair wet before you sleep and take it out in the morning,it works on mine and i do it all the time!
Nope! It's actually good for it! Especially if you are in a shower with conditioner in your hair.
No it won't smell but it is not a good thing to do. When your hair is wet it stretches so if you tighten it up when it is very wet it could cause damage to it.
yes it will and how wavy it is depends on how tight the braid is
When I get my hair bleached, my hairstylist puts a toner on my hair while it's wet.
wet and wavy
Take a shower with lots of conditioner. While it is still wet if there is still knots take a brush and gently start at the bottom of the hair and work your way up :)
Use a soft hold mousse while it is still wet.
While water alone will not damage your hair, other chemicals might. Since wet hair is the weakest, avoid brushing while it's wet. If you must style while it's wet, use a wide-tooth comb.
No, normally hair is dyed while dry in the salon.
If you sleep on wet, braided hair and your hair dries while you are sleeping (it may take longer, depending on length, thickness, etc.) your hair will be wavy when you unbraid it. The waves will stay in your hair until you wet it again, although they will become looser over time. If you hair is still damp when you unbraid it, you will be able to comb the waves out quite easily, although if you do not comb your hair immediately after unbraiding it may still dry with waves. Add on: The wavy hair after you take the curles out is very pretty. although it may not work out, if your hair is a little bit wet still, you can scrunch it with moose. this is a good, way to get nice, strong hold curles without applying heat to your hair.
