It's recommended you keep the fresh scar away from direct sunlight. The sun will only enhance the appearance of the scar as it darkens the pigments in the scar. So maybe wait a few weeks before you head out to tan.
If you tan it will just make the color of your scar darker, but using the spray tan will cover it, making it less noticeable.
If a spot on skin does not tan it could be because of a lack of pigments in that area. If the area is known to not be a scar that does not mean there is something medically wrong. A dermatologist can answer most questions concerning the spot on the skin that will not tan.

yes, you should heat it first for 1 min in a pan when cebo de macho melted apply on your scar though it is not fresh.rub it with kalamansi or lemon juice you'll just take 1-2 weeks then the scar faded. i witnessed it! & it really works on my new scar & most especially with the old scar
