I recently did, and it worked to my satisfaction, although I wasn't in persuit of perfectly straight hair. I used the perm soloution and combed it through my hair for the 10 minute processing time, and the result was slightly wavy towards the ends, but no more curls. I was careful to comb my hair in different directions (all to the left, all to the right, back, forward) as it processed so as not to have my hair permed flat to my head. Many years ago they had (and I'm not sure if they still do) hair straightening solution. I used it once, and it made my hair very straight. If you want very straight hair, I would suggest it. I believe it was called 'Curl Free'.
permanent - reverse the perm, use the solution brush hair straight and set with heat temporary - heat, use straightners or blow dry hair while brushing
Anything can be bad for your hair if you use it in excess, otherwise, no.
i use perm to straighten out my hair so it wont be nappy for a couple of months
No, you use it to CURL your hair.
No. The perm solution is a chemical and if you don't use a neutralizer to stop the chemical it will destroy your hair.
No. The neutraliser stops the perm lotion from working on the hair. If you just left the perm lotion on it would keep breaking down the bonds in the hair and the hair would be destroyed.
yes you can straighten permed hair; however, I suggest that you use a heat protecting spray because your hair is already damaged from the perm. Also I would recommend for you to use a leave in conditioner and once every two-weeks or so maybe every month deep condition your hair! You don't want to damage you hair too much.
If you use it right after your perm, then yes.
It depends on the perm but it will burn though your hair because you would have just got it perm
To straighten photos in Lightroom, use the "Crop Straighten" tool. Click on the "Crop Overlay" tool in the Develop module, then click and drag the straighten tool along a horizontal or vertical line in the photo to straighten it.
i haven't had a perm in 10 years. Would Like a mild perm for a African American hair.
Hairdressers may use a variety of chemicals such as hair dyes, bleach, permanent wave solutions, and hair smoothing treatments. These chemicals are used to color, lighten, perm, or straighten the hair based on the client's desired look. It's important for hairdressers to follow manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines when handling these chemicals.
