yes, when purchasing the hair, washing instructions normally are placed on the package...They rcommend mormalyy no shampoo or a specailized shampoo and luke warm water....My personal opinion is, synthetic hair is super cheap and like any fake hair, once you washit, it is never the same...Hold on to your synthetic style for as long as you can and then toss it!
