Do tragus peircings hurt

A tragus piercing can be very painful for some people. There will be a lot of pressure because the needle must go through a large chunk of cartilage. On a scale of 1 to 10, most people will give it a 5 or 6.

I just got mine done about a day ago, and the pain wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. Its more of a pressure feeling than anything. They clamp your ear and stick a needle through. (sounds worst than it is). I can sleep on it and everything and it doesn't seem to hard to take care of. But i would consider going to a clean piercing place so it doesn't get infected! it's different for everyone depending on how well you take pain and how confident/experienced your piercer is. if you go to a proper place where the equipment is sterile and the piercer is experienced it should'NT really hurt at all, as i found from experience. also, if it is pierced well it shouldn't hurt afterwards unless touching/lying on it. many people told me that it would be painful for a number or weeks and it wasn't. except for when being cleaned - but if you use cotton buds to clean, they enable you to get closer to the hole where it was pierced, preventing infection and is not painful whatsoever.

but from personal experience, i did not find it as painful as everyone makes it sound, it is more painful than lobe piercings due to the cartiladge but i do not take pain well and this was fine. :]

All piercings hurt to some degree. Tragus piercings are cartilage piercings so if you've ever had one of those, its basically the same. Just a lot of pressure.

most people would say yes but it all depends on your pain thresh also you can paralyse your face from having it done

Not for me, but I have a high pain tolerance level. Besides, if you experience pain easily, it's over within a second anyways. And I don't find it hard to sleep on either.
