Why doesn't fancifull work?
The Fancifull Mousses and Rinses are meant to be a temporary hair color and will wash out as soon as the hair is shampooed. It is not to be used as a permanent color. Also- the product works differently depending upon your color of hair and you may not necessarily get the results shown on the bottle.

Both...it's made to wash out, but it can also stain the outside of the hair shaft too. Especially if you use it often or if you have white or light blonde hair. Example: if you have that soft white hair (not glassy stubborn grey) or pale blonde highlights and you use the White Minx shade (or Ultra) occasionally, it will keep the yellowing and brassiness away. However, if you shampoo often and use it everytime...your hair may very well gradually take on a pale violet shade after several applications. Just keep in mind your desired end result. If you want a subtle change one time...most of it will wash out if you're using a color somewhat close to what you have. However...if you put black rinse on very light hair....I wouldn't expect it to wash out. In fact, if you have lightened hair and you put even a temporary rinse on it that's very dark at all, you could end up with quite a mess.

No. Rinse is a temporary color. 40 volume developer is used for high lift color, lifting more than 4 levels. When you apply 40vol to your hair, you are lifting the cuticle layer of the hair, difusing pigment inside the cortex and preparing for lift. This causes a certain amount of damage to the hair. It would not be a good idea to use this for a rinse. I would suggest seeing a professional if you want good results. There is a reason professionals go to school to learn these things :)
