YES! I've had three different stylist decide without telling me to use cellophane on my hair with the same result. SEVERE breakage! I am Black and do not use relaxer at all. After the cellophane treatment, it looks as though it has been relaxed with waves instead of curls. My hair then breaks and the only thing that can be done is cutting it off and allowing new hair to grow. The first hair dresser denied that it could be the cellophane but maybe hormones. The second and third said the same thing. But why does my hair grow back and does well until the cellophane treatment is applied?

Cellophane damaged my hair like crazy. Like the user above, severe breakage ! It worked great the first time I used it.... Then my future treatments have caused more and more breakage. I didn't figure out that it was the cellophane until I wasn't coloring my hair because I thought it was the color and three months later, the breakage was worse. Had to be the cellophane. No MORE !
