nail polish is an old remedy for mending runs in stockings. But with stockings being so cheap you might as well buy a new pair.
Nail polish remover, or pure acetone, would work.

Try nail polish remover, hot water and soap won't work
try spraying hairspray on it then rubbing it with a damp cloth
Nail polish remover should work great. Give it a few minutes, and applications, to soften the nail polish.
You can use vinegar, lemon juice, or rubbing alcohol as alternatives to nail polish remover to help remove nail polish. However, keep in mind that these alternatives may not work as effectively as nail polish remover.

If it is just a fiberglass bath tub, you can just use nail polish remover.
Acetone-a solvent.
I would just add a few drops of nail polish remover. It has worked for me! Just add a few drops of nail polish remover into the drying nail polish and give it a few good shakes!
