To get rid of nits (lice eggs) at home, you can use a combination of treatments. Start by applying a mixture of vinegar and water to your hair, which can help loosen the nits from the hair shafts. Afterward, use a fine-toothed lice comb to meticulously comb through your hair, section by section, to remove nits and lice. Repeat this process every few days for at least two weeks to ensure all nits and lice are eliminated.

Showering and using conditioner alone may not effectively eliminate nits (lice eggs). While conditioner can help loosen nits from hair, it doesn't kill them. To effectively remove nits, it's best to use a specialized lice treatment or combing with a fine-toothed nit comb, followed by washing hair with shampoo designed for lice. Regularly checking and combing hair after treatment is also essential for complete removal.
Nits grow into lice
Normally the brown nits are the dead nits, and the white nits are the alive one. I don't see the brown ones to be dangerous but I would still remove them. I found that vinger helps remove the nits dead or alive.
