You probably need to mature more. If you're young it's normal to be attracted to a semi-handsome guy (that's youth) but, the smart women fall in love with what's inside the package. Marriage should be for a life time, and looks fade! My father told me this, "Marcy, you'd better work on the inside because beauty fades fast." How right he was. We will all age and our faces and bodies will change, but, if we are in love with our partners we seldom notice those changes and just love each other. I've been married 34 years and to me my husband looks the same as he did when I met him at 23. Oh yes, both of us are a little more achy, have a few wrinkles, his hair has receeded, and my hair has gone a little gray. The lucky part is we are both slim and eat well (blessed with good genes.) I wouldn't trade him for the likes of Tom Cruise or any other man for that matter. I trust him, he sweet, kind, generous, loving and he's my very best friend and I have it all and know it! The question is, "who are you trying to impress?" Why should you care if he's super good looking. It's what's in the heart and the soul of the person that counts. I've dated male models, lifeguards, etc., and most of them were a pain in the butt and sub-zero personalities. I'd take a guy any day that isn't a "pretty boy". There are very few good looking men out there that have a good heart (there are a few) but most are so caught up in their looks and the attention they get from the opposite sex they don't have time to work on their personalities. To tell you the truth I like people with imperfections (both men and women) because it gives them character and I get plain sick and tired of seeing these perfect #10s (surgically altered 98% of the time) blond, blue-eyes, and gleaming white teeth cruising around like peacocks. They begin to all look alike and blend in with each other. Don't marry this young man if you feel you are doing him a favor or don't want to hurt him. You should take a couple of weeks off from each other and YOU should do a little soul searching. You've got to thicken up that frail character of yours girl! Good luck Marcy
