Alright, well you can always tease it (backcomb) but what i do is wash it use shampoo and conditioner then when you're done blow dry the ends and get a curling brush and blow dry it...just go on YouTube and search Christina grimmie hair tutorial and she'll show you step by step and it really works...hope this helps

Also, if your hair is really thick you can get it thinned out or feathered so it lays flatter on your head. Think about if you really want bangs before you cut them because you may get sick of them and they can take a while to grow back out.
