Find a time when you are both relaxed (with no distractions) and no on else around. I'm sure she'll be honored that you want her permission and advice so I wouldn't worry too much. Parents love their children being honest and up front with them. Don't forget she will have gone through the same thing at your age!
If you can't muster up the courage, then I recommend you write a note and leave it on her pillow or somewhere she will find it. Then she will probably write you one back so you don't get embarrassed.
Good luck!
by telling her to buy it
You could play it up and say how makeup gives you more self-confidence? Or promis to only use neutral colours. Or you could promise to onlyy use lipgloss and mascara and then eventually ask to use other things?
Tell her you want to wear makeup and you promise not to look "slutty" when you do.
You could try asking her to let you wear the bare minimum- for example, some tinted moisturiser, concealer, powder and mascara. Even let her help you buy the products.
Well, there really is no way to ask without asking! :p I just asked for things gradually. I began with lipgloss, then mascara, then eyeshadow, and eventually, she was okay with me wearing eyeliner. Just be honest with your mom, definitely don't try to sneak anything on without telling her!
Ask your father.
Three products: powder, lip gloss and mascara. See if you can convince your mom to let you wear tinted lip gloss, otherwise clear will do. Since you're in sixth grade that's all I'd use on you even if your mom was okay with you wearing makeup--a lot of schools freak out if sixth graders wear makeup.
Just ask her. If you are mature about it, she will let you.
i would say be really responsible aka don't argue, do all your chores, everything extra she tells you, without complaining. once she sees your mature and responsible, she MIGHT let you wear it. it varies with each mom.
Just say "Mom I think I'm ready for a padded bra!" If she sayys no than say mom all the girls in my class have on and I geet emberassed when I'm around them.
If your firneds wear it then tell her that when they talk about each others nail polish etc.. explain to her that you feel quite left out . Tell her that you would really like to wear it , it shows your personalityand it is quite feminine . If she still does not let you then you should try starting with clear nail polish then moving onto really faint colours . Good luck !!
I think this is a question you need to discuss with your mom. If I had a daughter I wouldn't want her to wear lots of makeup because young girls have thebest skin that doesn't need much to make them pretty. You can wear things such as foundation, eye liner, mascara, blush, lipgloss, and others. Remember to match your skin and hair color and ask someone who does their makeup that you are friends with for techniques.
