An easy way to make your own Coontails is to first buy:
The hair dye you want you Coons' to look like
Alluminum paper or Tape, NOT DUCKTAPE.
Now, first divide your hair so only the part you want to dye is hanging. The rest should be put up in a bun. Then, with the tape or alluminum, wrap the parts of the hair that you don't want hair dye, this creates the coontail. Now you can apply the hair dye on. While rinsing off, you can remove the alluminum or tape, whichever you applied. Then you can air-dry or dry your hair if you want to see the result. Enjoy!
