Listerine is perfectly fine to use, harsh yes, but it cleans and that is what the piercer wants you to do for the next few days. Ignore all the other sites and info unless you have trouble with your piercing then go back to your piercer before you go looking for help everywhere else. Your piercer is your connection to a good piercing, listen and follow the instruction you have been given. You should have been given written instructions, follow them, if they don't make sense then go back to the person you got the service from and ask for help or clarification
